There’s also plenty to discover on land. Visit nearby villages and towns or take a lovely walk along the water. At the end of the day, return to our resort and enjoy a relaxing evening in one of our comfortable vacation homes.

Things to Do During Your Waterfront Vacation in Friesland

A stay at our waterfront vacation park in Friesland is pure bliss for water sports enthusiasts. Located on the Slotermeer, our resort offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a variety of water activities. Set out in your own boat and moor it at the marina (for a fee), or rent a boat right at our park! You can also go stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, canoeing, or even sailing and water skiing. But there’s much more to do than just exploring the Frisian Lakes. For example, visit some of the “Eleven Cities,” such as Workum or Sneek!

    Water Sports

    Rent a small boat or set out directly onto Slotermeer from our marina in your own boat. There are endless water activities to enjoy here, such as fishing, sailing, or stand-up paddleboarding.

    Frisian culture

    During your stay, be sure to visit some of the charming Frisian villages and towns. If you ask us, a visit to Workum, Sneek, or Lemmer is definitely a must.

    Nature

    Friesland is much more than just a province with plenty of water. It’s also a wonderful place for hiking and biking. Right from our resort, you can easily hike or bike straight into the vast natural landscape.

Can I park right at the accommodation?

Yes, at most of our accommodations, you can park right next to the property. You’ll have access to one parking space at your vacation home, or a larger parking lot may be adjacent to some properties. Are you arriving with more than one car? If so, you can park them in the general parking lot at the front of the park.

Are pets allowed at your waterfront vacation park in Friesland?

Absolutely! Your four-legged friend is more than welcome in several of our vacation homes. We have a limit of 2 pets per stay. When selecting the number of guests, please let us know that your dog will be joining you. That way, we can make sure to select the perfect vacation home for all of you.
